Fifty Allegheny College students (fourth-, third-, and second-years) traveled to Cranberry Township to attend the 2nd annual Gator2Gator Live: Pittsburgh Career Fair to meet alumni and prospective employers. Alumni ranged from the Class of 1990 to the Class of 2024, representing seventeen companies.

“I actually got this job (or at least started the process of getting this current job that I’m in) at this job fair last year. It’s been a full circle moment for me,” says Holden Phillips ’24, now at UPMC. “Allegheny did a lot of interpersonal training, whether I actually realized it or not. Just in my classes with small group work and due to the nature of our classes being smaller in size, I was able to develop those skills and it’s really helped me in the workplace.”

The following companies participated:

  • Adagio Health Inc.
  • Allegheny Financial Group
  • Ally Bank
  • Auberle
  • Baird
  • Deeplocal
  • Federated Hermes Inc (Pittsburgh)
  • Johnson Controls
  • Oyster Creative Collective
  • Pennsylvania Geological Survey
  • Premier, Inc.
  • Public Allies (Pittsburgh)
  • Taylor Oswald
  • The Bradley Center
  • Willis Towers Watson

“My observation has been that they (Allegheny students) are well-prepared— they’re well-spoken. They are creative and inquisitive. I know that they can learn on the job everything we need to teach them,” says Kris Carter ’91 of the Pennsylvania Geological Survey.
