Pursue Unusual Combinations.
Celebrate Extraordinary Outcomes.

Our professors embrace your many interests. In fact, we’re one of the few schools that ask students to major and minor in different academic areas. Some may say these combinations are unusual, but, at Allegheny, they are part of a tradition of innovation.

This distinction along with guaranteed research and hands-on learning opportunities results in developing the career and life skills most prized by employers and graduate schools.

Two New Tuition Initiatives

Allegheny College is committed to providing affordable, world-class education through its new Impact Scholarship and Tuition Promise opportunities.

The Impact Scholarship will enroll up to 50 students into the Impact Scholar Program annually, with each student receiving a full-tuition scholarship for all four years of study, plus first-year experiences designed specifically to help them turn their potential into purpose. What will you do with an education designed to help you make an impact?

Our Tuition Promise is an expanded two-part commitment to education affordability and financial transparency, right in our backyard.  The “Commitment to Access Program” (CAP), provides free tuition to PA and OH families with an annual income of $75,000 or less. All other PA and OH students will pay no more than the listed tuition at Penn State, University Park, approximately $20,000 for the 2027-28 academic year.
