Responding to a request from the Alumni Council, Allegheny College alumni sent more than 500 notes offering words of encouragement to current students as they navigate the strains of the COVID-19 pandemic this semester. Some alumni sent multiple cards, wrote several paragraphs expressing care, and even provided gift cards for students to buy pizza. The cards are displayed on a board in the Henderson Campus Center lobby for students to read as they pass through the building.
