To offer students a variety of perspectives, each program at Allegheny belongs to one of six divisions. After first exploring several interests, you will choose your major at the end of your sophomore year. But that’s just the start of it. You’ll also be asked to choose a minor from an alternate division to keep your mind wide open.
This approach provides students various ways of learning and opportunities to study across disciplines. Students learn to draw connections between different ways of thinking, echoing real world experience and building in-demand skills employers are seeking.
