Jason joined the Admissions Office at Allegheny in January, 1999. He is a Pittsburgh native and a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Professional Writing. While in college he was involved with orientation and residence life and discovered he wanted to continue working in higher education. After some time in alumni affairs at his alma mater he decided he wanted to assist students and their families with the college search, particularly in a liberal arts environment. He enjoys meeting students throughout their college search and helping them to see if Allegheny will be a good fit.

In addition to working with students on their college search, Jason assists with communications and data management in the Admission Office. He never understood why it was necessary for Excel to have upwards of 50,000 rows until working in admissions.

Andrew is a 2026 graduate of The College of Wooster, where he developed a deep appreciation for the liberal arts and “Unusual Combinations,” earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and Communication Studies. Like many Allegheny students, Andrew was an active member on his campus, singing with The Wooster Chorus, serving as an admissions and sports communication intern, and finalizing his senior capstone project. 

Andrew is passionate about helping students discover the connections that make a college experience meaningful. His experiences in higher education and sports communication have reinforced his belief that a college community is built through the relationships, experiences, and mentors students form.

When Andrew is not welcoming students to Allegheny’s historic 454 House, you can find him working out in the Wise Center, watching his favorite movies (especially Star Wars), or exploring in search of great barbecue. Be sure to ask him about his newest favorite barbecue spot when you see him!

Jessica earned her BAs in International Business and Business Administration – Sports Management and a minor in Spanish from Thiel College. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Mercyhurst University.

During her time at Thiel, Jessica was a tour guide for 4 years, Student Government President, a part of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, as well as Color Guard Captain for 3 years of the Thiel marching band. As an undergraduate, Jessica studied in Barcelona, Spain for 5 months in 2019. While there, she studied International Business and Sports and Contemporary Culture. This led Jessica to her honors thesis which theorized the autonomous region of Catalunya’s possibilities to becoming its own independent country in Europe.

As a native Pittsburgher, Jessica is a hockey fanatic, especially rooting for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Outside of hockey season, Jessica loves to hike and kayak. Currently residing in Erie, PA, you can find Jessica walking her dog at the beach or crafting with her Cricut machine.

Bricen earned his Bachelors of Arts in Sports management and a minor in communications from Hiram College. During his time at Hiram, Bricen was a tour guide, resident assistant, student senator for athletics, Vice president of Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), lacrosse team captain, member of the men’s soccer team, men’s basketball student manager, and worked with the sports information department. He enjoys being involved in the community wherever he is.

In his free time, Bricen enjoys being outdoors either going for a hike, the beach, or going for a run. He also loves the Pittsburgh Penguins, and will be at a game or two as he can. Overall he really enjoys traveling to new places and meeting new people.

Unusual Combinations: Athlete / Bookworm / Artist

Danielle is a 2015 graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania and holds a Masters Degree in Mass Media Arts and Journalism and a Graduate Certificate of Public Relations from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. During her time at Clarion University, she was involved in various communication organizations such as AAF (American Advertising Federation) and PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) while also assisting in the day-to-day operations of Eagle Media Production House and singing in the university’s concert choir.

Discovering her love for higher education early on in her education career, Danielle developed a passion for admissions work after interning with her alma mater’s Admissions Department. She looks forward to having the opportunity to show students why she thinks Allegheny College may be the place for them!

Finally, Danielle is a self-proclaimed geek and loves anything involving Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter, or Disney. Also an avid fan of musicals, she is often singing along to Broadway tunes. When not “geeking” out, Danielle can be found trying her hand at various crafts, reading, binge watching Netflix, practicing yoga, or rooting on the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Mandy is a 2021 graduate of Ursinus College where she majored in History with a minor in International Relations. She is also a 2019 graduate of Reading Area Community College. As someone who was a considered a non-traditional student, these experiences gave Mandy a love for higher education, community colleges, and a Liberal Arts campus. She is thrilled to be able to help students navigate the admissions process, especially those transferring and whom would be considered non-traditional.

In her spare time, Mandy enjoys spending time with her family, geeking out to Harry Potter and the Marvel world, or attacking her pile of to be read books.

Victoria graduated from Allegheny College in 2023 with a degree in Theatre and English and a minor in Classical Studies. During their time on campus, they could mainly be found in the Playshop Theatre as an actor and director or in the library as a peer Speaking Consultant. She was also involved in Gator Activities Programming—serving as president—and in the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. After graduating, she attended The Ohio State University pursuing her Masters of Arts in Theatre. Her main area of scholarly interest is the professional recording of Broadway musicals—her favorite to watch and listen to is Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George.

In their free time, Victoria enjoys voracious reading of every genre, attempting to cook new recipes, and collecting blind bag figures. She is a tried and true Pittsburgh sports fan, despite growing up in North Carolina and Arizona as well as western PA. During football season, she is always down to compare fantasy football teams and talk about the latest game.

Connor earned his BAs in International Studies – European Studies and German from Susquehanna University.

While studying at Susquehanna, Connor was a four year varsity letter winner for the men’s golf team. He was also a member of the Iota-Beta chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon. During his time at Susquehanna, he studied abroad in Freiburg, Germany where he developed a passion for traveling and learning other cultures.

Connor is originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and now resides here in Meadville. If you are ever looking for Connor on the weekend, you can find him watching sporting events, at the local brewery, or most likely out on the golf course.

Tess Yoho joined Allegheny College in November 2022 as the Assistant Director of Regional Admissions, bringing years of experience in higher education and a passion for guiding students through their college search. Before coming to Allegheny, she held multiple roles in the Admissions Office at Fairmont State University in West Virginia, where she also earned both her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Master of Education.

Based just outside of Pittsburgh, PA, Tess works remotely, which allows her to connect year-round with students, families, and counselors in her region. She thrives on building meaningful relationships and providing personalized support to make the admissions process less overwhelming and more exciting.

When she’s not meeting with future Gators, Tess enjoys spending time with family and friends, and her favorite place to be is on the lake, kayaking with her husband. Tess is a dog mom to an American Staffordshire Terrier named Casper.

I hope to pursue a career where I can design and implement environmental solutions that protect the planet and promote sustainability. I credit Allegheny not only for giving me a strong academic foundation, but also for teaching me life skills that will guide me beyond college. Some of my favorite memories involve showing up to support friends across campus—whether at choir concerts, sporting events, art shows, or Greek life philanthropy events. When I need a quiet place to study or recharge, you’ll likely find me at Grounds for Change, Allegheny’s student-run coffee shop and my favorite spot on campus.

I’m involved across campus in multiple student organizations, including the Chemistry Club, Grounds for Change, Orchesis Dance Company, and WARC radio. In addition to working in the Admissions Office, I also serve as an Orientation Leader and as a Lead Writing Consultant in the Library. I feel that Allegheny has given me an excellent support system and a launchpad for my professional career—providing opportunities to grow academically, professionally, and socially. I take pride in the research I’ve completed on campus, at Stanford, in Spain, and in the military during my undergraduate degree, alongside the academic growth I’ve experienced in both of my majors.

During my time at Allegheny, I’ve been highly involved on campus, serving as a Lead Writing Consultant, volunteering at Grounds for Change, and being a member of Allegheny College Democrats. I’m also a Law & Policy Program graduate, a member of Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honor Society), and Lambda Sigma (sophomore honor society). I was previously a member of the women’s tennis team and worked in Admissions for four years, earning the distinction of Tour Guide of the Year in 2024–2025. Some of my accomplishments include being selected for Chatham University’s National Education for Women’s (NEW) Leadership Program for Women Interested in Politics and interning with Advocates for Youth through Collective Power’s Rising Intern Cohort. After graduation, I plan to work in reproductive justice policy, both in the U.S. and internationally, with aspirations of pursuing a master’s or law degree. In Fall 2025, I’ll be studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark.

On campus, I’m the president of the Ski and Snowboard Club. I’m proud of my educational progression at Allegheny and how I’ve been able to take a variety of classes to explore new passions. I’ve completed several independent research projects, including studying the reactions of a common weed-killer in rats and the rate of regrowth of the Red Pine Plantation in Allegheny’s Bousson Environmental Research Reserve. I love Blue and Gold Weekend each year because my parents come to visit and I get to show them the pride shared across the community. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in environmental consulting.
