Senior Leadership
Dr. Ron Cole ’87 was named Allegheny’s 23rd president in September 2022. Under Dr. Cole’s leadership, the College has undertaken an inclusive strategic planning process. As president, he has continued his steadfast focus on the student experience both in and out of the classroom.
The President’s Cabinet is composed of the senior college administrators who report directly to the president; the rotating chair of Faculty Council also serves as part of the cabinet.
Trustees are elected to four-year terms and may serve three consecutive terms (12 years). The Board of Trustees has fiduciary responsibility for the governance of the College, and through its work it supervises and monitors the institution’s broad policies.
