Gator Day is a fall tradition at Allegheny focused on community-building, recreation, and wellness.
A Sustainable Gator Day
As Allegheny is a leader in campus sustainability, we design Gator Day to minimize negative impact to the environment. The event’s sustainable elements have included:
- compostable catering with plant-based options
- reusable balloon tower with natural latex balloons
- digital schedule in lieu of print copies
- recycled paper table tents
- plastic-free name tags
- reusable tote bag giveaway
