Mission
The Achievement Initiatives Office develops innovative strategies to promote student success and belonging at Allegheny College. We use data-informed approaches to understand the unique needs and experiences of our student body and to cultivate student-centered strategies that foster academic achievement, holistic development, and a sense of belonging. We strive to remove barriers to success by building meaningful relationships, affirming identity, and offering intentional support systems throughout the college journey.
Our Approach
We believe that student success extends beyond the classroom. By understanding the intersections of academic achievement and social identity, we develop programs that nurture the whole student. From pre-college bridge experiences to student-led identity celebrations, our work is about transformation, empowerment, and lifelong community.
