Mailing Services

The College post office, located in the Campus Center on the 2nd floor, is a sub-station of the Meadville Post Office.

Mail Delivery

Mail and packages are delivered Monday-Friday. With our TRAC system, students will be notified by email when an item has been received and is ready for pickup. On-campus mail is continuously sorted for departmental pickup throughout the day.

FedEx and DHL/Airborne deliver to the College Post Office, although their services are not offered for outgoing packages. The College Post Office receives United Parcel Service (UPS).

Outgoing Mail Services

Services provided through the Postal Service are First Class, Priority, Express/Overnight, and Standard package mail. Certified, insured and registered mail is also available. UPS shipping is also available.

Other Items Available

Postal money orders can be purchased for cash and an additional fee.
Priority Mailing boxes are available at no additional charge. Masking or scotch tape is not acceptable for use on boxes.
Various sizes of padded envelopes and 9″x12″ manila envelopes are also available for purchase.

Printing Services

Our on-campus Printing Services are designed to meet the printing and duplicating needs of Allegheny College. Our primary customers are faculty, staff and students. We also work with nonprofit organizations, such as churches and schools, as well as walk-in customers. Printing Services offers full color and black and white quick printing, with high quality at reasonable prices. Our well-trained staff are here to help you with your projects from start to finish. We will stock a small number of coursepacks and then will print on demand.

Internal Customers

College projects for our faculty, staff, and students are priced per our internal rates and payable by cash, check, credit/debit card or department charge. All requests must be accompanied by a completed Printing Service Order Form, which must include department name and the correct account number for charge-back. This form is available online and can be mailed or hand-delivered to Gator Post & Print. Personal projects for Allegheny employees are subject to a 6 percent Pennsylvania sales tax.

External Customers

Projects for non-college customers are priced per our external rates and payable by cash, credit/debit card or check when the job is picked up. (For large orders, a deposit may be required.) Except for tax-exempt customers, a 6 percent Pennsylvania sales tax will be collected on non-college sales. Please contact us to discuss external rates.
