Over 130 clubs and organizations give Gators the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities. You might gain experience with organizing, facilitating, marketing, finances, and leadership, in addition to building friendships and just having fun! Allegheny clubs and organizations are open to all students without respect to sex, race, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, or ability/disability, and it’s our students who lead the way in establishing and running the organizations they care about most — what groups will you be a part of?
ASG sponsors student organizations across campus and works as a liaison with the College leadership, advocating for students and helping to shape the overall campus experience.
This long-standing station is one of a few remaining open format stations in the country. It is student-run and has a regular programming hosted by Allegheny students, faculty, and staff.
Orchesis is a performance-based dance organization. More than 100 members from across campus perform in their annual show, choreographed and produced by students for the entire campus community.
Both Greek honor societies and social organizations are groups that recognize and support students with a strong interest or achievement in specific fields of study or those who are interested in joining a national membership organization. There may be different processes for joining and/or participating with these groups.

Purpose: The club serves as an outlet for students and a social network for horse-lovers of all background and areas of study. Events include weekly riding lessons, a traveling team, philanthropy, mock shows, etc. The ACET is the competitive division of the ACEC. As one of over 300 schools participating, students travel and compete under the guidelines of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. Competition is open to all levels from walk-trot to an open division. The Allegheny College Equestrian Team competes with thirteen local schools in the designated region of the IHSA. The IHSA is unique in its emphasis on teamwork, networking, horsemanship, and scholarship.

Purpose: The Allegheny College Bike Share strives to provide an alternative mode of sustainable and healthy transportation to the student body through free checkout at the library. The Bike Share repairs and rebuilds used, donated bicycles to create a fleet of bicycles for student use; offers opportunities for students to learn bike maintenance and repair skills; and cultivates a strong biking culture in which cyclists, pedestrians, drivers, and those differently abled can each have fun, safe, and equal access to transportation.

Allegheny College Bird Club (ACBC)
Purpose: Bird Club is the college’s club for all things birds! As an official campus chapter of the National Audubon Society, Bird Club provides a space for the entire campus community to learn more about birds and to get involved in birdwatching.
We meet weekly and organize several birdwatching trips throughout the semester. Past trips have included duck banding at Pymatuning Wildlife Refuge, owl banding at the Allegheny National Forest, trail maintenance at Presque Isle, and general birdwatching at Conneaut Marsh, Erie National Wildlife Refuge, Woodcock Lake, and Presque Isle. The club also has a collection of bird books and binoculars that students are free to borrow.
As an Audubon campus chapter, we communicate directly with and get support from one of the largest conservation nonprofits in the country, and do local conservation work.

Purpose: Allegheny’s Health and Wellness Club will foster a community to motivate and educate students on the importance of mental and physical well-being. Everyone is able to reach a healthy lifestyle through simple tasks attainable by all. This club will show how a lifestyle can drastically improve through small changes in one’s routine. Purpose: The purpose of Knitting Club is to provide students with the opportunity to learn how to knit or crochet their own scarves, blankets, gloves, hats, and other various pieces of clothing or accessories. Students will have access to patterns and stitches through books and member knowledge as well as the chance to perfect the craft using different materials and equipment. The club promotes an appreciation for handmade goods and the time and effort it takes to create your own unique style. We also participate in numerous charity projects each semester, both locally and nationally. Furthermore, the club is not limited to knit and crochet; all forms of needlecraft are welcome, including (but not limited to) felting, needlepoint, cross-stitch, and plastic canvas!
