I think [success is] personal for everyone. You define that for yourself. But for me, success meant learning to ask for help. The people here want you to be successful. Everyone wants you to be the best you. You have to go about that by asking every question and seeking every opportunity and, yeah, being uncomfortable sometimes.
I think there is an advantage to going to a smaller school. My high school was big, and I was just another kid in school. There are some professors here I’ve never taken a class with, but I pass them in the hall so much that I get to know them. It’s really cool. Even if I don’t know someone, I can just ask for help and they’re willing to help me.
