Haley Fabich ’23 presents her Senior Comp at an event at the Meadville Public Library. Fabich is one of the first Allegheny graduates from the Public Humanities major, one of 4 new majors announced in the fall of 2023.

Allegheny staff serve ice cream at a bonus ice cream social, sponsored by Board of Trustee member and Allegheny parent Mary Amsdell and her husband Todd. The event was a thank you to students for breaking the goal of 150 student gifts on Gator Give Day.

Students participate in research throughout the year and the summer. At the weekly summer ACRoSS (Allegheny College Research Seminar Series) luncheon, Reagan Grace Wheat ’26 reacts as she handles a gulper shark jaw.

Allegheny welcomes and matriculates its class of 2028, with activities including the traditional class photo.

Students present their projects and findings during a Summer Research Symposium held in the Henderson Campus Center.

Over 100+ student clubs and organizations packed the Campus Center lobby in search of new Gators to join their ranks.
September 14
The historical Meadville Market House welcomes visitors throughout the year. During the summer, Allegheny students and community members enjoy the excitement of a Second Saturday Community Market, when local artists and visitors flock to downtown Meadville.
September 21
Students, alumni, staff, and faculty all cheer on Allegheny’s football team at the Blue & Gold Weekend festivities.

Students take in a piece featured in the art exhibit Open Sound Control, a “diverse collection of moving sculptures, interactive installations, and visual representations that explore the complex relationship between sound and control.”
September 27
Allegheny College inducted its 2024 Hall of Fame class, which included six student-athletes as well as the 1974-75 Men’s Basketball Team.
October 1
President Ron Cole delivered remarks ahead of the opening of oral arguments for the Pennsylvania Superior Court, heard on campus in an historic first for Allegheny. The court periodically travels to hear oral arguments, but seldom do colleges or universities have the privilege of hosting.
October 18
Allegheny announced its “In for Allegheny: Our Pathway Forward” campaign, the most ambitious in College history. The campus and Meadville communities gathered, along with the Board of Trustees, to celebrate.
October 21
Students travel across the Rustic Bridge as the leaves on campus turn their colors toward a classic Allegheny autumn.
October 23
The World Languages and Cultures Department gathered for a group photo, taking advantage of Allegheny’s brilliant fall foliage.
October 29
Fall is in full swing as students walk across Gator Quad.
November 11
Allegheny’s student-run Orchesis Dance Company performs its 2024 show, “The Golden Age: An Orchesis Encore.” Orchesis is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year!
November 16
Civic engagement is a hallmark of the Allegheny experience, including several Service Saturdays organized each year throughout the community. Pictured here is a group that assisted in setting up the Trees of Christmas display at the Baldwin-Reynolds House Museum.
November 20
The annual International Fashion Show, hosted by the International Club and International Student Services, is always a hit during the year, with international students featuring their clothing from around the world.
November 23
Dr. James Niblock directs the College and Community Chorus at the Allegheny Choirs concert.

Students take in the work at the opening of the art exhibit, “look me in the eye”. The show featured work by students completing their Senior Comps and Junior Seminar major and minors.
