Throughout my freshman year at Allegheny, I saw the impact the Bonner Program had on my peers and the Meadville community. I was already involved in nonprofit work and knew it was the path I wanted to pursue, but I realized I was missing the mentorship and sense of community that the Bonner Program offered. I wanted to surround myself with people who shared the same drive and dedication as me, and when I became a Bonner my sophomore year, I found that and more!

The Bonner Program has allowed me to connect with people on and off campus, creating genuine friendships. Academically, my short time as a Bonner has helped open the doors for internships, fellowships, and work-study opportunities. More importantly, it has given me the confidence to pursue opportunities that align with my passions.

Being a Bonner means having a support system that encourages you to become the best version of yourself while leaving a lasting impact. You'll build friendships, gain valuable experience, and be part of something bigger than yourself!
