I've learned that success isn't about reaching an end goal — it's about progress. It doesn't have to be big achievements or perfect scores, but it is about working hard. It means trying a second time, third time, or more. Everyone truly wants to help you become the best you can be, and that isn't something that happens on the first shot.

Success is collaborative! Working together and asking questions is so important to the learning environment here at Allegheny. Being able to learn from and share information with peers and professors helps students grow beyond anything learned in a textbook. Your success isn't defined by your grades. It encompasses all the skills, knowledge, and connections you obtain during your time at Allegheny, and, of course, how you contribute to the campus community, too!
