Description

In order to promote the success and sustainability of community gardens in Meadville, Cam's summer 2023 project attempted to take an inventory of the existing gardens and outline their overarching organizational structure.

In order to promote the success and sustainability of community gardens in Meadville, Cam’s summer 2023 project attempted to take an inventory of the existing gardens and outline their overarching organizational structure. In order to direct what actions could be taken to reinforce the existing garden system, he used information on the current system to analyze the strengths and weaknesses (informed by outside research of other community garden policies) of Meadville Community Gardens.


Outcome

Inventory and mapping completed, case studies of successful models; project will continue in spring to gather community feedback and develop local action plan
