Description

Elizabeth's summer 2023 research at Goodell Gardens and Homestead consisted of identifying and keeping an inventory of the organization's plants.

Elizabeth’s summer 2023 research at Goodell Gardens and Homestead consisted of identifying and keeping an inventory of the organization’s plants. She used iNaturalist and many wildflower books to identify each plant in the gardens. By the end of the summer she identified nearly 300 plant species on Goodell Gardens and Homestead’s property.


Outcome

Identified and recorded data on plants found on Goodell grounds. Plants of note to be included in the botanical garden signage project.
