Allegheny's writing major explores literature in the areas of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. The minor must be combined with a major that is outside of the Humanities division.

Single Voice Reading Series
This is an opportunity to hear and meet nationally known writers. Readers have included John Updike, Carolyn Forché, and Tobias Wolff.
