Experience Meadville (MIBA) Website renewal with interactive business mapping tool

This project emanated from an investment the college made several years ago to create a business mapping tool and inventory for use by college students. Bull Moose worked with students in the Computer Science Department enrolled in Professor Doug Luman's internship course (CMPSC 592) to develop an automated scraping tool that will "scrape" the internet for publicly available current business information to populate the map and inventory. This scraping tool will enable the map and business inventory to be continually and automatically refreshed.

As a research volunteer for the Crawford County Clean Slate Initiative, Gary was able to familiarize, broaden his connections, and use research based on Pennsylvania's Clean Slate Law to better the process for assisting certain formerly incarcerated individuals in Crawford County.
