Inquiries regarding student records, except transcripts, should be addressed to the Office of the Dean of Students. Under provision of the Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, the College regards the following as directory information which may be released without the consent of the student or the student's family: name, home or campus address and telephone listing, date and place of birth, dates of attendance, enrollment status, class, major field, campus honors, participation in officially recognized activities, height and weight of members of athletic teams, degree received, and educational institutions most recently attended. Campus address includes College post office box number, residence hall room number, college house address or fraternity house, and street addresses for students not residing in college housing.
Students may request that any item of the foregoing be considered confidential information; such requests should be made to the Dean of Students Office at least 30 days prior to registration for the first semester of a given academic year. The College will make every effort to comply with such requests to the extent permitted by law.
