Wellness Floor

Location: Walker and Walker Annex Halls
Wellness entails attempting to live a balanced, healthy life by focusing on a number of key wellness dimensions: physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social and career. (Adapted from Luther College)

Based on the definition of wellness, the Office of Residence Life will work to help shape a floor environment conducive to healthy living. The staff will engage students to become active members of their community. Together, the staff and students will commit to living a healthy life and work to provide holistic programming (includes physical, spiritual, intellectual, career, emotional and social). (Adapted from Luther College) It is important to note that you might find one of these aspects more suited to your beliefs and habits than the others. We encourage behavior that reduces stress and improves your health. We ask that our Wellness Floors remain drug and alcohol free to ensure that we are supportive of all the needs of the residents in our buildings.
