The Vegetarian House has been created in order to provide support for vegetarianism and veganism at Allegheny. We are determined to promote the consumption of locally grown vegetarian and vegan foods to students and faculty on campus and to the surrounding community in Meadville. The Vegetarian House also promotes awareness to the campus community about animal rights issues as well as the environmental and health benefits of this lifestyle. House events will take place year round. Both students and the surrounding community are invited to be a part of what the Vegetarian House members feel is a beneficial cause for both humans and animals alike.
